This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) for LavaMae d/b/a LavaMaeˣ (“Company”, “we”, “us” “our”) describes how we collect, use and disclose information about visitors of the Company’s website www.lavamaex.org (the “Website” and such individuals, a “Visitor”), individuals utilizing mobile showering systems that contain our underlying software and technology (such individuals, a “Guest”), individuals utilizing and/or licensing our software and technology that enable the provision of showering systems and other mobile hygiene services to Guests (“Partners”).

The Website, the underlying software that enables the provision of showering systems and mobile hygiene services to Guests and any associated platforms or dashboards, including LavaMaeˣ Connect – https://connect.lavamaex.org (“Mobile Hygiene Technologies”), the administration of us directly providing showering systems to Guests (“Showering Service”), and any content, tools, features and functionality offered on or through our Website, Mobile Hygiene Technologies, or Showering Service are collectively referred to herein as the “Services.”

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” means you as the user of the Services.

1. UPDATING THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time in which case we will update the “Last Revised” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We will notify you and/or take other steps as required by applicable law. The updated Privacy Policy will be effective as of the time of posting, or such later date as may be specified in the updated Privacy Policy. 2. COMPANY’S COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION

Information Collected Directly From You

In order to provide you with the Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain details or information about you. Information that you submit through the Services may include:

  • Contact information, including name, telephone number and email address, as it relates to Guests, we also collect date of birthday and location where you received the Services. We collect basic contact details to communicate with you, provide you with the Services, personalize the Services for you, improve and enhance our Services, market to you, and conduct research and analytics;

  • Account information for your commercial account as a Partner, including username, password, security questions, and which organization and/or provider you belong to within the Mobile Hygiene Technologies. We collect account information to maintain and secure your commercial account with us, provide you with the Services (including providing assistance, consulting services, and support), enable you to request the Services according to your preferences, and administer your relationship with us. If you choose to use the Services and register an account, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. We highly recommend that you do not share your username, password, or other access details with anyone else. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately;

  • Professional information, including your company name, division, job title, professional and educational information. We collect such information to explore potential business opportunities with you and provide the Services;

  • Demographic information, including country, city, and state/province. If you are a Guest utilizing the Showering Services, we also collect gender identity, race, ethnicity, employment status, sexuality, disability status, housing situation, health-related information and veteran status. We collect demographic information to provide you with the Services, personalize the Services for you, advertise to you, and facilitate, sponsor, and offer certain events

  • Interaction and feedback regarding the Services, including search queries on the Mobile Hygiene Technologies, and certain interactions you make via the Services, such as information viewed. We collect this interaction and feedback to provide you with the Services, improve and enhance our Services, conduct research and analytics, and for security purposes;

  • Applicant details, including information included in your resume or CV, references, and job history. We collect applicant details to evaluate your candidacy and process your application for employment; and

  • Any other information you choose to include in communications with us, for example, when submitting information through a webform.

Our Services may require you to enter certain information about yourself. You may elect not to provide this information, but doing so may prevent you from using or accessing the Services.

Information Collected From Other Sources

We may obtain information about you from the following third party sources:

  • Your employer, in order to provide you with access to the Mobile Hygiene Technologies, market to you/your employer, and for security purposes;

  • Social networking platforms, for example, LinkedIn, when you have a publicly-available profile containing information about yourself. We use this information to network with you, advertise to you, and seek business opportunities;

  • Service providers and other similar entities collecting or processing data about you on our behalf;

  • Partners when you utilize the Mobile Hygiene Technologies;

  • Business-to-Business marketing databases or other data provider companies, which is used to advertise and market our Services; and

  • Career websites, such as LinkedIn, Monster, or Indeed, which is used to process your application for employment.

Any information we receive from outside sources will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible or liable for the accuracy of the information provided to us by third parties and are not responsible for any third party’s policies or practices. Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect certain information about Guests’ use of Showering Service including:

  • Date of the receipt of Services;

  • Location of Services; and

  • Service type.

In addition, we also automatically collect certain information about your interaction with the Website (“Usage Data”). To do this, we may use cookies, web beacons/clear gifs, and other tracking technologies (“Tracking Technologies”), including Google Analytics, to provide and enhance the performance of our Services, facilitate and enhance user experience, monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with the Services and conduct internal research and development. The purpose of these features is to enable Partners to communicate with each other. Through your participation, you may submit information about yourself, your use of the Services, messages and other information related to your organization (“User-Generated Content” or “UGC”). We or others may store, display, reproduce, publish, or otherwise use UGC, and may or may not attribute it to you. Others may also have access to UGC and may have the ability to share it with third parties. If you choose to submit UGC to any public area of the Services, your UGC will be considered “public” and will be accessible by anyone, including the Company.

Social Features include features that allow you to click and access the Company’s pages on certain third-party platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, and from there to “like” or “share” our content on those platforms.
