LavaMaeˣ and Unilever’s The Right To Shower are excited to announce new funding to support four mobile shower programs in the United States

LavaMaeˣ partners with The Right To Shower to fund hygiene initiatives for people experiencing homelessness across the United States. To kick off 2022, we’re thrilled to announce new funding for four incredible organizations that embody our philosophy of Radical Hospitality.

 
 

Cloud Covered Streets

Cloud Covered Streets’ mission is to provide hope, compassion, kindness, connection & essential supplies to those experiencing homelessness. Funding from The Right To Shower will enable Cloud Covered Streets to expand its services to more cities.

 
 

 

Mobile Community Showers and Wellness Services in New York, NY

The vision of MCSWS is to eradicate homelessness, and empower the unhoused and economically disadvantaged by enhancing physical and mental well-being, inspiring hope, respect, dignity, and self-esteem, and by promoting self sustainability and assisting with permanent housing. Funding from The Right To Shower will enable MCSWS to launch its first mobile hygiene program!

 
 

 

Project Refresh in Augusta, GA

Founded in July of 2020, Project Refresh, Inc. is a non-profit organization that believes access to a refreshing shower is a basic human right no one should be denied. Funding from The Right To Shower will enable them to launch their first mobile hygiene program!

 
 

 

Showering Love in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Showering Love, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was created to restore dignity and hope to people experiencing homelessness with weekly showers to inspire the desire for self-sufficiency. Funding from The Right To Shower will enable the organization to secure a second mobile shower bus for expanded shower services!

Unilever's The Right To Shower is a social enterprise that donates 30% of profits from its line of head-to-toe cleansers to support hygiene services for people experiencing homelessness across the United States.

As a funding partner, LavaMaeˣ advises the brand to identify and recommend initiatives for The Right To Shower to fund.

Since 2018, The Right To Shower has allocated more than $320,000 to 27 programs delivering more than 69,000 showers to over 44,800 people across the United States.
